As a wedding photographer.. the key skill to develop, is learning how to adapt to and manipulate the dynamic range of light that potentially exists in every single photograph. Becoming aware of light.. the way reacts and offers itself for use is an enormous benefit when trying to capture the perfect moment. Knowing how light "acts" and knowing what to "expect" from it... changes everything!
When we are on location interacting in a real environment, we try to use the available lighting to create a broad sense of emotion. Revising our perceptions of lighting.. allow us to realize its full potential! What may seem unusable for some photographers... can be the perfect setting for a photographer who knows how to properly adjust to his conditions. Sometimes this involves changing the angle, direction, and even our initial concept.
