Wedding photographers sometimes get so fixated on fulfilling their photo-checklist during a wedding that they overlook the magic that is happening right in front of their lenses! At every single wedding you shoot, there are always hundreds of opportunities to capture authentic, meaningful and intimate photos. There is so much love and emotion at weddings, but often we overlook fleeting special moments because we are too focused on the basic images we are expected to get. Our checklist can often narrow our focus... keeping us from capturing the truly organic experiences right in front of us. However, it only takes a few moments of "focusing" outside the box to photograph images that have extra depth and warmth. Keep your eyes open, and don't be shy! Watch for the subtle exchanges that truly convey the love and emotion of the day.
